Dragon Drive is a Japanese manga written by Kenichi Sakura. It follows the story of Reiji Ozora, a lazy junior high school student who discovers the virtual reality game called Dragon Drive. Reiji gains a small dragon named Chibi and together they enter the game's tournaments, only to discover that Chibi is the rarest dragon in the game. The story takes a twist when Reiji and his friends are transported to another world called Rikyu, where they must protect both Rikyu and Earth from the plans of the group RI-ON. The manga was published by Shueisha and serialized in Monthly Shōnen Jump, with its publication ending in 2006. An anime adaptation was also created, along with three video games. The manga and anime series were released in North America by Viz Media and Bandai Entertainment respectively.
